On June 1, 2026, "GION Terrace" opened in Gion-machi Gintengai.
GION Terrace is an open rental space where people can gather and interact. It can be used for a variety of purposes, including events, workshops, exhibitions, meetings, and pop-up shops.
Future plans include lunch service and events such as beer halls, making it a noteworthy new hub for community interaction in the city center.

The Nobeoka Guide and Volunteer Association operates under the motto "Learn while having fun, and guide while having fun," offering guided tours of Nobeoka's three mountains (Shiroyama/Nobeoka Castle Ruins, Atagoyama, and Imayama), the Satsuma Rebellion, and the mythology of Nobeoka.

As a preliminary event for the 81st National Sports Festival and the 26th National Sports Festival for Persons with Disabilities, to be held in 9, Nobeoka City will host the event.
