A pioneer of Nobeoka's famous "ankake yakisoba" (stir-fried noodles with thick sauce). Founded in Yanagisawa-cho in 45, the restaurant has since moved to Shinmachi, Furukawa-cho, and Midorigaoka. The exquisite soup, made from a blend of pork and chicken broth simmered for a long time, is topped with a delicious sauce containing 12 to 13 ingredients including cabbage, Chinese cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and squid. The generous portions that fill the large plates attract loyal fans.
