The popular early summer gourmet event, the "Nippo Coast Rock Oyster Festival," held in three cities and one town in Miyazaki Prefecture (Nobeoka, Kadogawa, and Hyuga) and Oita Prefecture (Saiki), has started again this year!

The rock oysters grown on the Nichiho coast, where the Kuroshio Current and the bounty of the mountains meet,

These oysters are larger than typical rock oysters, and farmed varieties are said to have about twice the amount of meat as their shell, making them a real luxury.

Seafood Jjigae: 1,936 yen (A slightly spicy hot pot containing 2 rock oysters, 2 scallops, 2 red shrimp, cabbage, tofu, and chives. The broth is full of the delicious flavor of seafood.)

Reservations: No reservations are required for food. During Golden Week, seat reservations are only accepted for 11:00 AM; after that, it's first-come, first-served.
