Guide to using the "Kawamachi Exchange Center," a food hub facility.

A food hub facility that can be used as a place for citizen exchange through food, such as events that showcase Nobeoka's local ingredients and chefs.

Located on the riverbank overlooking the beautiful Ose River in Nobeoka, the "Kawamachi Exchange Center" is a hub where local food and people meet and connect. In addition to being used as a dining area for the "ayu yana," a traditional autumn spectacle in Nobeoka City, the facility is also available for use by general restaurant operators outside of the ayu yana season.

A highly flexible space creates a variety of usage scenarios.

With its spacious floor plan and flexible layout design that can be changed according to its purpose, Kawamachi Exchange Center is a highly versatile space that can accommodate a variety of uses. It can be used to create a lively atmosphere as an event space to enjoy local flavors, or to host a variety of food-centered events such as tasting sessions and food fairs where producers and chefs can meet. Furthermore, it can be used for workshops and social gatherings, or even as a lunch space for tour groups, changing its character depending on the scene. The spacious design and comprehensive facilities make it easy to turn ideas like "Wouldn't it be great if we could do this?" into reality—that is the greatest appeal of this facility.

Facilities that will satisfy even food service professionals.

The kitchen is designed to be easy for chefs and restaurant owners to use, and is equipped with ample workspace and a lift for transporting food to the second floor, making it easy to imagine actual operating scenarios. It can accommodate regular restaurant operations, so it can also be used for event booths, pop-up shops, and seasonal food spaces.
