About the Nobeoka Tourist Guide
Nobeoka City boasts a rich food culture that takes advantage of its abundant natural resources, and is also a popular destination for outdoor sports. However, it also has a wealth of historical and cultural sites rooted in the region, as well as numerous mythological locations full of romance.
Our Nobeoka sightseeing guide will show you spots and hidden stories that can't be fully conveyed in brochures or guidebooks, offering a unique perspective only a paid guide can provide.
Saigo-don course
Our guide will take you on a tour of various locations, including the Saigo Takamori encampment site museum, the Ninigi-no-Mikoto mausoleum reference site, and the place where Saigo Kikujiro recuperated. You will also explore what Saigo was thinking in the Tawara district of Kitagawa town and the feelings of those who surrounded him, offering insights from multiple perspectives.
Shiroyama Course
On April 6, 2017, which is "Castle Day," the Japan Castle Association selected Nobeoka Castle as one of the Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles. Various tourist attractions are scattered throughout the site of this famous castle. We will explore the history of Nobeoka with a guide.
